If the wax is still soft, bolt up the excess with paper towels. If it is hard, gently scrape the excess with
a dull knife. Next, lay a plain brown bag or white paper towel (no dyes or painting inks) over the wax
and run a hot iron over the paper. The heat will melt the wax and the paper will absorb it. Continue
by moving the bag or paper towel around to unsaturated sections until all the wax is absorbed.
Remove residue by blotting with a dry-cleaning solvent such as Spotless Dry Clean Liquid. Be sure to
rest the solvent first on an inconspicuous spot.
